Spartak's Dzyuba to Move to Zenit

Spartak Moscow forward Artiom Dzyuba will move to St Petersburg in six months, according to a new contract he signed with Zenit.

      Earlier, Russia-IC reported the 26-year-old player could leave Spartak, but a source told he was expected to play for Lokomotiv Moscow now coached by Miodrag Bozovic. Both enjoyed effective cooperation during Dzyuba’s stint with Rostov.

      Dzyuba has been touted as an offensive leader that Russia has lacked so far. He was dropped from the lineup for the 2014 Brazil World Cup by Fabio Capello, but after a lot of critique following the national team’s dismal performance, Dzyuba got a chance.

      Dzyuba, 26, scored seven goals in thirteen matches in Russia’s Premier League and two goals in eight matches for the national team.
