State Literature Museum has opened the exhibition Moscow of Boris Pasternak in Events and Persons timed to the writer’s 125th anniversary.
For the first time the Literature Museum presents a full-fledged exhibition dedicated to Boris Pasternak and consisting of unique materials from the museum collection and paraphernalia provided by the poet’s relatives. Lots of these exhibits have never been displayed before. The visitors will see family photos, letters to his school friend, and graphic art works by his father, artist Leonid Pasternak.
It will also present rare shots of news photography and newsreels, which captured swiftly changing life of the country from the late 1920s till the late 1930s.
The exhibition runs till April 25.
