The Moscow Museum of Modern Art presents the Power Place project by Alexander Pogorzhelsky, one of the most vivid young modern artists of Russia.
His creativity stands out with aspiration to reveal the essence of the moment: special feeling for color and vision of the surrounding reality. Alexander Pogorzhelsky analyzes his own feelings arising in contemplation and paints from memory. The works painted this way call to reflect on the transience of time and on what remains once the boundaries of the visual and sensuous are erased.
The exposition consists of four interdependent parts in the genre of hiking sketches.
The exhibition runs on the ground floor of the Moscow Museum of Modern Art (10, Gogolevsky) till March 9.
