The works on the improvement of the “Fire of Glory” memorial for the 70th anniversary of the Victory continue in Rybinsk.

      The workers erected a heat module above the concrete base of the memorial to make it possible to proceed to the next stage of work - facing it with granite tiles. “In order to perform facing works we need the air temperature above zero, therefore we assembled a heat module. Four heating guns maintain the temperature at a level slightly above five degrees Celsius. This is sufficient for performance of works”- the Chief Engineer of “Urban Services Management” MBI Igor Klunok told. Now the workers are carrying out preparatory works for pouring of the base, next week they will begin facing the memorial with tiles. The facing of the memorial will require more than 400 square meters of granite tiles.
