ProÑosmos Exhibition of Konstantin Batynkov

Moscow Planetarium with the assistance of Krokin Gallery holds the ProCosmos exhibition of Konstantin Batynkov.

Konstantin Batynkov has long been well-known among art connoisseurs, first of all thanks to his participation in the Mitki creative group. He can be justly reckoned among the famous contemporary artists omitting the traditional laws of pictorial arts and using a variety of techniques for creating imagery. Recently the artist has been into monochrome painting only, and yet, despite that rather modest palette his paintings are amazingly expressive.

The exhibition presents over fifty vinyl canvasses of large-format acrylic painting in his favourite black-and-white colours. It partly corresponds to the videos about real and fantasy space, the screening of which is aimed to erase the distinction between reality and imagination.

The exhibition runs till March 15.
