The Federal Security Service Will Cut Down the Personnel

The Federal Security Service (FSS) intends to cut down the personnel in the regional offices at the initiative of the Agency Director Aleksandr Bortnikov.

      It was reported by “” on Wednesday, February 11. Independent contractors from financial planning and economic divisions will be cut down first of all. It is not specified by what percentage of the personnel is to be cut down. In addition, according to “Fontanka”, the new employees will not be taken to the positions of the retired employees in 2015. Earlier it was reported that the Ministry of Internal Affairs started optimization of the agency and temporarily suspended recruitment of new employees from February 1, 2015. In case the agency is affected by downsizing, only vacant positions will be liquidated.
