Shchusev Architecture State Museum holds the exhibition Soviet Design. From Constructivism to Modernism, 1920s -1960s.
The exhibition is aimed at showing the Soviet design as a vivid art phenomenon that played a significant role in the European industrial art of the 20th century.
As the organizers report, the exposition is based on rare objects showing continuity in development of the Soviet design from Constructivism to Art Deco, Stalin empire style and Functionalism of the 1960s.
Visitors will see more than 200 unique exhibits from museum and private collections. The exhibition is timed to the 7th anniversary of the Heritage international art in Moscow.
The exposition can be observed in the principal building of the Shchusev State Architecture Museum till March 22.
