Monument to Lost Journalists to be Set up in Nikitsky Boulevard in Moscow

Monumental Committee of the Moscow City Council has supported the idea of setting up a monument to journalists perished in the performance of duties.

      The idea was promoted by Pavel Gusev, Chairman of the Moscow Union of Journalists.

      According to a representative of the Committee, the Moscow Union of Journalists is ready to incur the project expenses of up to 10 million rubles. At the same time the monument offer specifies that the project will be financed by means of fund raising.
