Rosturizm announced the launch of the all-Russian contest in creation of a tourism brand of Russia.
It was planned to conduct it last year, but due to the suspension of work of the major tour operators, the agency had to deal with the arrangement of return of Russian tourists from overseas trips. “So, frankly speaking, there was not enough time for this, but the task of creating a single brand and slogan is very important, given the fact that domestic and foreign tourism acquire special significance today” - the head of the agency Oleg Safonov reported. In his opinion, “the country’s progress is impossible without creation of a national tourism logo and slogan”.
The Head of the Federal Tourism Agency noted that not a penny of budget money would be spent on the contest. “Our population consists of very creative and active people, they have a lot of ideas, and we believe that holding an open contest will be efficient” - he said.
