The Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree supplementing the list of technological equipment imported to Russia, such imported goods not being subject to customs duties, according to RIA “Novosti”.
It included the equipment for the plant producing liquefied natural gas in Yuzhno-Tambeyskoye gas condensate field. The decree of Dmitry Medvedev also included the equipment for the production line for wood chipboards. The corresponding project is implemented in the town of Torzhok of Tver Oblast. “These decisions will make it possible to create new high-tech production, increase the competitiveness of products” - the materials of the government say. The list of the technological equipment, including accessories and spare parts with no analogues produced in Russia and with the import not being subject to VAT, was approved by the government decree as of April 30, 2009.
