Stage director Sergey Zhenovach has become the winner of Alexander Solzhenitsyn Literary Award of 2015.

      This news has been reported by Natalia Solzhenitsyna, the writer's widow and the head of Alexander Solzhenitsyn Fund.

      The stage director Sergey Zhenovach is the art director of the Theatre Art Studio.

      In particular, the award was given “for educating the audience in the spirit of exacting love for the Theatre and the Book” as well as “for dedicated service to the Russian theater and inspired interpretation of treasures of the world literary classics into the stage language”.

      The awarding ceremony will take place in the Russia Abroad House on April 23.
