Spanish artist Xevi Vilaro has opened his personal project under the name “8” in the Osnova Gallery.

      The artist bares sensitive and ambiguous human issues of the modern society. Thus, he tackles the problems of identification, depersonalized megalopolises, abortions, social disparity, and the church influence on the state policy.

      Xevi Vilaro works in coordinates of different planes with ease: oil painting a-la Italian classics is made on polymeric plastics. Images of mass culture are intertwined with biblical scenes.

      The exhibition runs till April 8.
