Three Centuries of Japanese Fashion

The Vauxhall Center, Moscow holds the exhibition Three Centuries of Japanese Fashion.

The exhibition presents unique dresses from the private collection Thousand and One Kimonos, which traces over 300 years of evolution of the Japanese fashion.

Wives and daughters of the Samurais, legendary geishas, merchants’ wives, brides, rich and poor townswomen — the visitors will see a chain of female images from the mid 18th century to the present, all through the kimono.

The exhibition will be held till March 11.
