Rigina Gallery has opened Victor Alimpiyev’s exhibition The Radiant.

      Mysterious and refined paintings by Victor Alimpiyev sometimes remind of late Monet's manner and at the same time undoubtedly remain modern.

      Victor Alimpiyev is one of the most interesting modern Russian artists to have won recognition abroad as well. The series of his paintings displayed at the current exhibition are portraits of the British opera and camera singer, the contralto Kathleen Ferrier, who lived in the mid 20th century and had one of the finest voices of that epoch.

      The exhibition runs till April 11.
