Tretyakov Gallery at Krymsky Val has opened Nikolay Kasatkin’s exhibition Double Painting.

      Nikolay Kasatkin creates the double optics effect in his works, i.e. the feeling of presence of one painting in another.

      Moscow artist Nikolay Kasatkin creates portraits, still lifes and so-called psychological landscapes, which have become his hallmark. A master of colour, he is also a virtuoso in dealing with the painting space.

      The exhibition runs from March 6 till July 26.
