The authorities of Tula Oblast have developed a tourist route for school students named “Battle for Moscow” that will tell about the role of Tula in the defense of the borders of the capital in the first year of the Great Patriotic War.

Within the framework of presentation of the project at the All-Russian conference on military-patriotic tourism in Orel the Minister of Culture and Tourism Tatyana Rybkina said that the route included the main museums of Tula related to the Great Patriotic War: the Museum of Weapons, the Museum-reserve ”Kulikovo Field” and the Museum of Military History . According to her words, the route includes the XVI century fortress - Tula Kremlin, and its territory will soon host a modern museum and exhibition complex of four museums.

One of them, the Museum of Military History, will contain a modern multimedia complex. Tula Art Gallery with the world famous military posters of the creative association “Kukryniksy” will also be open. The branch of the Museum-reserve “Kulikovo Field” will show the interactive program “The Legend of the Slaughter of Mamay” to schoolchildren.
