Architecture Monument Demolished in Korolev

House of Construction Bureau has been demolished in the Moscow satellite town of Korolev.

The house built in the 1820s was an architecture monument.

It was unique as a house keeping in its walls the world’s only samples of Soviet avant-garde monumental painting by the artist Vasily Maslov.

The mural paintings were found under the unstuck wall-paper on the remaining walls after the demolition start in 2014. Those were two compositions: Electrification and Industrialization.
