Dmitry Peskov, the Press Secretary of the Russian President Vladimir Putin, commented on the call of the Ukrainian leader Poroshenko to boycott the FIFA World Cup 2018 to be held in Russia. It was reported by “R-Sport”.

      “The Russian Federation is preparing for the FIFA World Cup, all the obligations taken over by the country as an organizer of the World Cup will be performed on time. The tournament will be one of the best in all history”- Peskov stated, answering the call of Poroshenko. Earlier the Ukrainian president stated that all countries should refuse to participate in the World Cup in Russia due to the fact that “Russian troops stayed on the territory of Ukraine”.
