It is planned to develop industrial tourism in Saint-Petersburg.

      The city Committee on Tourism Development believes that this is a promising trend. “Within the frame of industrial tourism we will be able to offer our guests guided tours to the city factories, enterprises, which are numerous in Saint-Petersburg” - the Committee reported. In particular, the guests of the northern capital will be probably offered tours to confectionery factories, porcelain manufactures (at the Imperial Porcelain Factory), shipyards (at the “Northern Shipyard”), as well as to the watch factory “Raketa”.

      The northern capital has presented this line of tourist activities at the road show titled “Welcome to Saint-Petersburg” in the southern regions of Russia.
