A new research project, planned to be constructed on the territory of the Moscow State University (MSU), is expected to become Russia’s equivalent to the famous Silicon Valley, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development and Construction Marat Khusnullin said.
“There will be 430,000 m2 of research buildings, in fact, it will be our equivalent to the Silicon Valley,” Khusnullin told the Russian press last week.
According to the official, the project is currently being prepared for public presentation. “In coming months, we are going to develop and approve the project's plan", Khusnullin said, adding that the exact dates for the project to be finished would depend on officials from the MSU.
