The 30th Anniversary Season of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia featured the press-briefing with the official Secretary, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Viktor Evtukhov, and President of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia, Alexander Shumsky.

      Subject of the briefing was the presentation of the special collection by design-bureau Russian Army which will take place on 31 March.

      Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russia Federation has been continuously supporting fashion weeks of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia. Among the joint projects are the Day of School Uniform and the Day of Industrial Collections that must be especially highlighted because such days were of significant importance not only for designer who participated but also for the Russian industry and economy in general.

      Viktor Evtukhov mentioned the significance of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia saying that it is very important that the Week brings such renowned designers as Vyacheslav Zaitsev and Alena Akhmadullina and young designer together. For young designers runway shows are extremely important because designers get the chance to present their collections to buyers, fashion experts and representatives of the Russian and world media which all together opens new career opportunities. Besides Deputy Minister told the journalists about the new design-bureau Russian Army: - Design-bureau Russian Army created the special collection of civilian clothes featuring military style. Originally the idea belonged to the Minister of Defence as military outfit has always been a part of our national culture.
