Stanislav Govorukhin Made Film After Writings by Sergey Dovlatov

The film director Stanislav Govorukhin will soon release his new film based on works by the Soviet writer Sergey Dovlatov.

      The film is titled The End of Beautiful Era after the same name article by the writer.

      The plot hinges on the story of Andrey Lentulov, who is forced to move from Leningrad to Tallinn due to his directness of frank speech and finds a job in a local edition.

      The leading roles in the film are played by Ivan Kolesnikov, Sergey Garmash, Fedor Dobronravov, Dmitry Astrakhan, and others.
