From April 1, 2015 the “Aeroexpress” Company officially launches the system of wireless internet in all its trains.
Now the passengers of the Moscow Aeroexpresses will be able to use free Wi-Fi during the trip, with the average Internet speed of 20-25 Mbit/s. Equipping trains with Wi-Fi was one of the priorities for the company in 2014. From February 19 to March 31 of the current year the launch of the project was implemented in a test mode. During the test the average speed of Internet access during train movement made up 25 Mbit/s. The best result was obtained in Sheremetyevo while standing, when the speed reached 115 Mbit/s.
The “Aeroexpress” Company has carefully prepared for the launch of high-speed Internet, choosing a reliable and responsible service providers. Providing broadband access has become possible due to combining of traffic of all four communications services providers in the region. The services provider is the “RDL-Telecom” Company, which provides high-speed access to the network based on 3G/LTE networks of “Megaphone”, “Beeline”, “MTS” and “Yota”.
