Hospital Building In Khovrino Will Be Demolished

An investor buying a plot of land together with the unfinished hospital in Khovrino will have to demolish the old building as it is very worn out, as “Interfax” told on Wednesday, referring to the words of the Deputy Mayor for Urban Policy and Construction Marat Khusnullin. “Due to the fact that the building stayed in the open for too long, and no works were carried out, the future investor will have to completely dismantle it. Only after that this he will be able to begin construction of a new facility at this site”- he said.

According to Khusnullin, the building that began to be constructed in 1980, is substantially worn out. The preserved enclosures became shabby. He also added that by the end of this year Moscow authorities will offer this plot of land together with the building for sale. The construction of the hospital began in 1980 and stopped in 1985. The building was visited by stalkers and other extreme tourists. In 2009 the complex became the property of Moscow.
