More than 110,000 cases of violation of the rules of fare in the Metro have been prevented in Moscow since the beginning of 2015. This was reported in the press release of the Moscow Metro received by the editorial board of “Lenta.Ru”. According to the press service representatives, the total amount of fines amounted to more than 52 million roubles.

      “Inspectors of the security service together with employees of the Internal Affairs Directorate stopped 86,500 people in the Moscow metro and returned them to box offices, and in 25.2 thousand cases the violators were detained by the controllers of the SBI “Transportation Organizer” and given a warning of fines for ticketless travel or misuse of concessionary tickets”- the representatives of the Metro say. They also stated that there were over two thousand attempts to carry dangerous items, mainly piercing and cutting ones, to the territory of the Metro in 2014.
