Flower Shop Network Mostsvettorg Was Asked To Refuse From Deliveries To Boris Nemtsov Memorial

The online flower shop network “Mostsvettorg” was asked to refuse from deliveries to the memorial to Boris Nemtsov. This was written by the municipal deputy Maksim Katz in his “LiveJournal”.

At last, today the number of “Mostsvettorg” was called, and the company was urged to stop delivering flowers to the memorial to Boris Nemtsov. They said that they would deliver what had been already ordered, but refuse to do this in the future” – Katz told. The number of orders received by the online flower shop is unknown. It is not also reported who demanded to cancel the delivery of bouquets. Max Katz previously reported that, “looking at the number of orders and the event they are connected with, “Mostsvettorg” added a special option to its website: ordering flowers delivery to Bolshoy Moskvoretsky Bridge. Now the flowers would be easier to order and at a 15 percent discount”.

The 55-year-old Boris Nemtsov was killed in the centre of Moscow on the night of February 28. Unknown persons riding in a white car shot him in the back at least six times while he was walking through Bolshoy Moskvoretsky Bridge with his friend. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case by the articles “Murder” and “Illegal arms trafficking”. The investigation is considering several versions of the event. In particular, the murder could be a provocation for destabilization of the political situation in Russia. The “version associated with the Islamic extremist trace” is also considered: Nemtsov “was threatened in connection with his position regarding the shooting of the journalists of the magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris”. In addition, the crime could be related to the inner conflict in Ukraine, as well as commercial activities of Nemtsov or someone’s personal dislike towards him.
