On April 1-5 in St. Petersburg an official St. Petersburg Fashion Week — season FW 2015-2016 will take place. Petersburg Fashion Week will be held under the patronage of Fashion Syndicate St. Petersburg and will bring together more than 35 leading Russian designers, as well as present collections of debutants and international guests. In addition, according to information from the organizer, there is scheduled rich educational program, where the strongest design schools in St. Petersburg will show their collections.
During the St. Petersburg Fashion Week designer, stage designer and fashion expert Vladimir Buhinnik is going to introduce a new collection for men “Lyubov Voyna” (“Love War”), “Fabric Fancy” company will held a press preview of the capsule collection presented in Paris at the Paris week prêt-à-porter as well as the collection Fall-Winter 2015-2016 “Continuum”.
Petersburg brand Milla Berillo will show the work of “Ispoved seroy volchitsy” (“Confessions of a grey she-wolf”), where the basis of the design concept was formed by sharp geometric designs and textures, colour basis — black, white, and brown shades, and red comes as the bright accent, as a symbol of the will to live and steadfastness.
Special guest of the season — Fashion house HARLEN, who will present a show dedicated to the memory of Lenova Larisa Emelyanova, the director of the Fashion House.
At the event will also presented works of designer from Belarus APTI EZIEV with a collection “POSTMAN”, fashion house “Iya Yots” with work “Message”, Fashion House of Anna Ovchinnikova, brand “My Purple Mood” showing sports designer clothes. A brand which has received a grant to participate from the St. Petersburg Combine Fashion — M¨D by Olga Medvedeva — will show its first large collection.
Petersburg Fashion Syndicate continues to implement a number of projects under the support and development of the fashion industry in St. Petersburg. One of them will show young designers that received target grants SHOWCASE NEW NAME. The new season features UOT LENA MAKSIMOVA, Knarik Javadian (QNARIQ), Maria Sukhomlinova (SUMANI), by Nataly Erohkina, Olga Gubina, Maria Arsenyeva (M’ARS).
