Nikolay Petrov International Festival Kicks Off in Moscow

International Festival of the outstanding virtuoso pianist Nikolay Petrov has been opened in Moscow today.

      This year the festival is timed to the 80th anniversary of the Central Music School at the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory and will take place in it for the first time.

      Throughout 15 years the festival has been bringing together famous international prize holders and gifted aspiring musicians.

      The festival program includes piano concerts and jazz improvisations, as well as performance of a chamber orchestra and the chorus of the Moscow conservatory students.
