Night Wolves Bikers Break through Border

Members of the Russian bikers club Night Wolves have crossed the European border in their ride honouring the Victory over fascism.

Night Wolves reported about the news on their official blog in the LiveJournal.

“In spite of the fact that all the frontier check-points had been instructed “to not let the Night Wolves pass through” we still managed to cross the border”, the bikers’ leader nicknamed Surgeon pointed out.  - Now the guys are driving the planned route. The aim is Bratislava. They are going to meet bikers from the Balkan Peninsula there”.

It has not been specified, through which border the bikers managed to get into Europe. The number of Night Wolves who have crossed the border also remains unknown.

It is a reminder that shortly before it Lithuania did not allow eight bikers from the Russian club Night Wolves go through. They had to turn back on the border between Belarus and the Kaliningrad Region. Some of the bikers tried to drive to Lithuania after being turned back by the Polish frontier guards.
