The administration of Youtube blocked the illegally posted copies of the TV series “Fizruk” and “Chernobyl” at the request of the Moscow City Court, as Roskomnadzor reported on its page in the “VKontakte” social network.

      As the agency notes, “the access to illegal copies of television series was restricted at almost a total of 1500 URL-addresses of the video hosting”. Roskomnadzor can block television and other films on the Internet resources by the court decisions following the “anti-piracy law”. From May 1 its effect will be enhanced: the regulator will also be able to block the illegally placed music, books, games and software with the help of the courts’ decisions.
