30 Forest Fires Spread over 460 Ha in Krasnoyarsk Krai

The area of natural fires in the Krasnoyarsk Krai has increased more than twice since morning today.

      30 seats of fire have been recorded in the total area of 460 hectares there, the regional Forest Fire Center reported to TASS.

      The woods are on fire in the northern, southern, western and eastern parts of the Krasnoyarsk Krai. 5 fires blaze in 216 hectares of an aircraft zone inaccessible to land transport, and 25 more fires have spread over 244 hectares in a ground zone with some country and forest roads.

      Fire spreading is promoted with windy and hot weather (up to 26 Celsius degrees above zero).

      More than 470 people and about 100 machinery and equipment units are engaged in putting out the fires.
