Year-round tourist routes may appear on the Moskva River. Now, the Moskva River is used as a transport artery for recreational purposes and it is necessary to extend this function, to work out such a possibility, which will allow using a part of the Moskva River year-round for tourist routes. 

      The fact that the capital's authorities intend to gradually arrange the Moskva River and other water areas of the city, was first announced in July 2013. Later it became known that the municipality is going to hold a competition for the concept of the Moscow embankments development. The water works project should cover 15-20% of the capital's territory. According to Moscomarchitectura, only 25% of the 220 kilometers of the Moskva River embankments are currently in public use, despite the fact that the area of potential development zone, adjacent to the water within the city reaches 3.5 thousand hectares.
