Yaroslavl Region Will Get 85 Million Rubles to Make Amenities for Disabled People

The RF Government will allocate 3 billion rubles to the regions of Russia for making the environment comfortable for disabled people.

      The Yaroslavl area will receive 85 million rubles out of this amount. In addition to that, 50 million rubles will be allocated from the local budget.

      As it has become known, the Cabinet of Ministers has signed an order about appropriating funds in the framework of the Comfortable Environment program, which provides equipping Russian settlements to the needs of disabled people.

      The Comfortable Environment program has been afoot since 2011. 233 objects altogether were adapted for disabled people in the Yaroslavl Region by 2014. 23 more high-rise buildings and 47 public city objects are planned to be equipped with entrance ramps. In addition to that, Yaroslavl city will buy 2 buses with low floors.
