The Scorpions to Celebrate 50th Anniversary in Russia

The Scorpions band is giving a gig in Yekaterinburg today in the framework of its tour The 50th Anniversary.

The musicians demanded four Mercedes limousines to drive around Yekaterinburg.

The world tour celebrating the 50th anniversary of the legendary German rock band will cover some other Russian cities as well. The Scorpions will give concerts in St. Petersburg on May 25, in Moscow on May 27 and then in Ufa, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Voronezh, and Krasnodar.

"These are the first 50 years, and it’s just the beginning”— Klaus Meine said with optimism.

The Scorpions band was founded in 1965 and has released 20 studio albums since then.
