The acting lawyer of Sergei Polonsky Slavik Brsoyan who earlier denied the reports about the arrest of his customer told that the businessman was really arrested on his yacht. Besides, the lawyers who were staying with him were also detained, as “Interfax” reported on Friday, May 15. “Polonsky was really arrested on his yacht, the lawyers staying with him were also arrested” - he told to the agency. The lawyer told that the military sailed to the yacht and arrested everybody. He added that at that time the military “were loading something to the yacht and unloading something from it”. The defenders of Polonsky do not possess the full information, for there are no their representatives on the yacht. Earlier Brsoyan denied the reports about the arrest of Polonsky. The first message saying that Sergei Polonsky was allegedly arrested was written by his former lawyer Aleksandr Dobrovinsky in his facebook. There was no official confirmation of this information. The Russian businessman Sergei Polonsky was “in absentia” arrested in Russia. Earlier the Foreign Minister of Cambodia Hor Namhon stated that the request for the extradition of Polonsky to Russia was being considered.
