The dismantling of the hotel “Rossiya” was completed within the frame of the construction of the park “Zaryadye”. This was reported by the Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin who visited the construction site, as the web-portal of the capital government writes.

      According to Sobyanin, 250 thousand cubic meters of super-hard concrete remaining from the hotel were taken out from the construction site. They began to fill the base of the underground garage at that place, they are as well preparing a site for construction of the Philharmonic Hall. The Mayor gave a task to the Head of the Department of Culture Aleksandr Kibovsky to create director’s offices of the Park and Philharmonic Hall. Before their creation the design and examination of documents will be effected by the director’s office of Mosgorpark. According to the project, the Philharmonic Hall which will be located under a unique translucent dome will be one of the central objects of the park. A Great Hall of the Philharmonic will be designed for 1.5 thousand spectators. In addition, there will be two rehearsal halls, a sound recording studio, a lunchroom and a recreation area with an open-air terrace.
