The holiday is celebrated on the Day of the Saints Cyril and Methodius, on May 24. According to Legoyda, the page in the social network pursues the same objective “as the missionary works of the Slovenian teachers - carrying the Word of God with the use of the means of communication which are most understandable by the contemporaries”. “The Patriarch has repeatedly stressed that social networks are the main source of information for millions of people” - he added. The content of the pages is the responsibility of the staff of the Information Department of the Russian Orthodox Church. However, selected questions and comments will be sent to the Patriarch.
