The State Central Museum of Cinema will be located in the pavilion No. 36 at the ENEA.

      |The pavilion is the object of cultural heritage and is under the program of the Government of Moscow “1 rouble per 1 square meter per year”. This means that the Museum of Cinema will lease the building at the rate of one rouble per square meter, and the lease term will make up 49 years.

      The work on the creation of the project of the building reconstruction will start in the near future, and the repairs, reconstruction and adaptation of the pavilion for the full activity of the Museum of Cinema will be carried out in 2016. It is assumed that the new space with the area of 5300 square meters will include 3 cinemas for showing films from the museum’s collection, areas for permanent and thematic exhibitions will be equipped, as well as auditoriums for lectures on history and theory of cinema, cafes and a company store will be opened.
