Indoor Ice Rink Will Appear In Barnaul

The construction of an indoor ice rink is underway in Barnaul, it is scheduled to open the rink by the end of the year.

      The facility is located in the district 2043 (Zhasminnaya Street 3), as the Tourist Centre of the Altai Territory reports. The experts have performed framework installation, facade decoration is underway, and then finishing works and landscaping of the site will begin. The building will have two ice rinks, six team locker rooms, a medical unit, a sauna and massage rooms, a dressing room for 450 people, a mass locker room for 180 people, a lunchroom. The stands are designed for 400 seats. There will be rooms in the entrance hall for rental of skates, their sharpening, as well as a souvenir shop and a shop selling sports equipment.

      The second floor will contain a conference hall, a fitness centre with locker rooms, including a cardio zone and a gym for 30 people, as well as a hall for gymnastics and dance lessons for 50 persons (for skaters’ training).
