It is supposed to build a new observation wheel instead of the current “unsafe” one on the territory of the ENEA.
Now the Mayor of Moscow is thinking about attracting investors for creation of the new wheel. Last Wednesday the Ostankinsky Court of Moscow suspended the operation of 12 amusement rides at the ENEA, sustaining the claim of the Prosecutor’s Office. As it was reported, the Prosecutor’s Office filed a lawsuit demanding to suspend the operation of 12 rides at the ENEA, including the observation wheel, due to the lack of commissioning documents on the part of “The Russian Exhibition of Attractions” CJSC.
Earlier one of them - the amusement ride “Cobra” - suddenly stopped operating with people in the carriages who spent some time hung upside down. All 12 attractions mentioned in the lawsuit of the Prosecutor’s Office are not operating in connection with the interim measures imposed by the Ostankinsky Court.
