The southern entrance hall of the “Botanichesky Sad” metro station will open to passengers two months ahead of schedule. The replacement of escalator systems will be implemented in recordingly short time - 8 months.

      The auxiliary reconstruction works in the entrance hall will be carried out without closing the hall to passengers.

      The southern entrance hall of the “Botanichesky Sad” metro station is closed for performing works on replacement of escalator systems. In order to enter the station and return to the city, passengers can use the northern entrance hall of the “Botanichesky Sad” metro station that continues to work normally. In connection to appeals received from the metro passengers, a special temporary flooring is equipped in the area of railways of the Moscow ring railway. The security of the passage is provided here in full, because this section of the road is currently under reconstruction, and there is no movement of trains on it. The construction of the flooring made it possible to increase the convenience of the pedestrian passage leading to the northern vestibule from the Wilhelm Pieck Street.
