26th Kinotavr Film Festival Gives Out Prizes

The 26th Open Russian Film Festival Kinotavr has come to an end in Sochi.


The professional jury has summed up the festival results and announced the winners.


The film About Love the director, screenwriter and producer Anna Melikyan takes the 1st Prize. Last year Kinotavr honoured her as the best director for the film The Star. The comedy About Love combines a few love stories of absolutely different people. Each of them has love inside and tries to understand what it is like.


The Best Direction prize goes to Alexey Fedorchenko with his Angels of Revolution. The Best Actors are Vasily Butkevich, Alexander Pal, Pavel Chinarev, and Ivan Yankovsky. The Best Actress is Polina Grishina with her role in The Rescue.
