Spanish Film Festival in Yekaterinburg

Week of the Spanish Cinema accompanied with a topical photo exhibition will run in Yekaterinburg.


      The Salute Movie Theater will screen modern Spanish feature films never demonstrated in the Ural capital before. The films will be shown in the original language with Russian subtitles.


      The most famous work on the festival list is the touching road movie Easy Life with Closed Eyes by David Trueb, the winner of Goya Awards 2014, who took all top prizes (awards for the best movie, direction, scenario, music, actor and actress).


      The photo exhibition of Vladimir Bogdanovsky’s works Spain. Invitation to Travel will run in the framework of the film festival. The exposition will include about 20 author's photos selected especially for the Week of Spanish Cinema and tackle upon three subjects: Castles of Spain, Holidays of Spain, and Knights of the Templars Order.


      The festival will take place in Yekaterinburg from June 18 to June 25.
