'We Can't Live Without Cosmos' by the Petersburg director Konstantin Bronzit wins Cristal award for best short film at the 39th Annecy International Animated Film Festival.
The 15-minute animation about two friends who dream about flying into outer space was created in 2014. They grow up and do everything for their dream to come true. The animated film tells about friendship, dream and science in a simple language.
It should be noted that the prize at Annecy is not the first international award for Konstantin Bronzit. He is the holder of the awards César, Nika and Gold Eagle, as well as Oscar nomination.
Konstantin Bronzit was born in Leningrad and graduated from the High Directors’ Courses at the VGIK. He is well-known as an animation artist, animated film director and cartoonist. He is a member of the National French Academy of Cinematic Arts.
