Literary Festival Held on Lake Svetloyar

Unique festival-trip Svetloyar of Russian Literature is taking place in the Nizhny Novgorod Region.


      
      

The event is dated to the Year of Literature in Russia. The opening ceremony took place in the Nizhny Novgorod Planetarium on June 22. For a few days famous Russian writers, poets, philologists and journalists will impart their experience to aspiring colleagues. The festival venues are picturesque areas of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, in particular, the legendary lake Svetloyar, which has became the festival symbol.


      

The express exhibition Nizhny Novgorod Book Context of the Year of Literature will be part of the program. Besides, a literary action from the cycle Russian Language Space will take place in the Planetarium.


      

The festival is held with the assistance of the Culture Ministry of the Nizhny Novgorod Region and the Culture Department of Nizhny Novgorod.
