The “Information Satellite Systems” company (named after the academician Reshetnev) summed up the participation in the Paris Air Show-2015 held in Le Bourget. It has signed several agreements for the supply of foreign equipment and components for its spacecrafts, according to the company’s website.
The company has signed contracts for the delivery of foreign devices of orientation and stabilization systems to Russia for promising telecommunications spacecrafts. Thus, the French Sodern will provide SED-26 star sensors, and the Airbus holding – the sets of fibre-optic angular-rate sensors Astrix-1090.
These products will ensure the high accuracy of orientation of the new satellites of the Russian company in space. The framework contract with the French company Saft provides for the supply of lithium-ion batteries for the power supply systems of telecommunication spacecrafts. They will make it possible to increase the power-weight ratio of satellites and ensure their reliable operation during the passage of the shadow areas on the geostationary orbit.
