The Hungarian movie Without Any Reasons became the winner of the 6th International Young European Film Festival VOICES.
It is the graduation work by the film director Gabor Reis, who personally presented the film at the festival. It is a comedy and drama about a 29-year-old man looking for a place in life.
The festival was held in Vologda from July 3 to July 5. The closing ceremony took place on July 5.
Seven films competed for the festival prizes. Russia was represented with one movie only, namely 14+ by director Andrey Zaitsev. The work took the Audience Choice Prize and the Jury’s Special Diploma for the Best Acting.
The Best Actress is Maria Leon, the lead of the Spanish movie Carmina and Amen. The Best Director is Burhan Qurbani from Germany with the film We are Young. We are Strong. The Best Scenario Prize goes to Michael Jackson Monument.
