A 28-meter picture of a kiss will be painted on a building in Magnitogorsk. A very ordinary 10-floor building at the address 84 Lenina Street in the city of metallurgists will be turned into a colorful art object. It was chosen as a “canvas” by the capital writers.
The artists Stepan Krasnov and Andrei Tseluyko will decorate the building with the painting of a passionate kiss on the background of the Kremlin’s Spasskaya Tower. The sketch is ready, and the artists will begin to work any day. The building will become an enormous canvas within the frame of the ambitious project “Magnitogorsk – the Museum of European and Asian Cities in the Open Air”. The idea of turning gray buildings into “living installations” is designed to show the unity of Europe and Asia at the crossroads of the world parts. The project “The Museum of European and Asian Cities in the Open Air” is a kind of innovative cultural project of Magnitogorsk, within its frame the artists from the countries of Eurasia can decorate the facades of the local houses in their own unique style fully reflecting their culture and history” - the authorities of Magnitogorsk report.
