Anniversary Helga Festival  of the Early Middle Age Reconstruction will take place in the Vybut Settlement of the Pskov Region from July 16 to 19.

      This year the event will be held in the homeland of the Princess Olga (aka Helga) for the fifth time.

      The official opening ceremony will start at 11 am on July 18 and will be followed with mass and individual performances. The festival guests will also be able to try their wings at medieval military science. Women are welcomed to participate in the Princess Helga competition.

      In addition to military traditions of the medieval Kievan Rus' and Scandinavia the organizers pay attention to the history and ethnography of that era. Guests will be able to participate in various arts and crafts workshops in special tents and listen to ancient music instruments.
