Musical for 150th Anniversary of Crime and Punishment

The 150th anniversary of Fyodor Dostoyevsky's legendary novel The Crime and Punishment will be marked with the same-name musical.

      The premiere is expected on April 17 of the next year. The info was reported by Mikhail Shvydkoi, the art director of the Musical Theatre in Moscow. The famous director Andrey Konchalovsky will stage the performance.

      Rehearsals of the musical Crime and Punishment are already in full blast, with  experts from Great Britain involved in its preparation too. Eduard Artemyev is the author of all compositions for the musical. The scenario was written by Mathew Willis in co-authorship with his team.  

      According to Mikhail Shvydkoi, lots of book lovers remember about the upcoming 150th anniversary of the famous classical novel by Fyodor Dostoyevsky. at the same time the Musical Theatre is one of the few to celebrate the significant date.
